3 Bedroom House in Galveston

We invite you to come and stay at our beautiful beachfront home, the Galveston Sea Star, located in the Sea Isle community! Enjoy incredible views of the gulf while relaxing on the balcony or spend time with family downstairs at the picnic table during a cookout.
The Sea Star will sleep up to 10 people in 3 bedrooms and a downstairs Murphy bed. Each room includes a TV and fresh linens on the beds. The living room provides spectacular views of the ocean as well as easy access to the kitchen. The downstairs floor has wood floors throughout and the kitchen provides granite counter-tops and stainless appliances.
The beach is car-free (other than the occasional city beach official), giving parents more peace of mind when your kids are playing. The home includes an outdoor shower, a picnic table and 2 person swing, fast broadband internet, HDTV's, Blu-Ray players, and a spacious dining area. Cell phone reception in the area can be bad, so there is also a landline phone to make calls to your friends and loved ones.
Your stay will include access to the community tennis court, private fishing pier, and fish cleaning station. You also have the option to purchase a pass to the Sea Isle community pool. Located just 1.4 miles away, the hangout also has an excellent restaurant and bar.
We are happy to consider up to 2 dogs, but will not accept any dogs weighing more than 25 pounds, NO EXCEPTIONS. All dogs must be disclosed upon inquiry.

Summary: Very nice house. Everything you could possibly need. Plenty of towels, paper goods, soap, cleaning supplies. I was surprised by everything available. Beach view was great from very nice deck. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Summary: The tv in the bun room wouldn’t work so some of the kids wouldn’t sleep in the bunk room because it was too dark. Bought food to grill as it states there was a grill that could be used but it was coated in rust so we couldn’t grill. I didn’t love that the checkout was at 11 because of the instructions for check out including doing the laundry, dishes and stripping the beds. That didn’t really leave anytime to just vacation and enjoy the family today.

Summary: My family of 5 stayed here, and we loved it. The location was perfect. Even being there during the weekend, there were no crowds and we also liked how no cars were allowed on that stretch of beach. The house had everything you could need and more. Summary: We loved this house last year. The location, the layout, the space and access to the beach is wonderful 👌 The only sour note, there were gnats coming out of the kitchen and upstairs restroom. They were extremely annoying. I called the phone number on the frig and I never received a text or phone call back.

Summary: This property is great for families with young children. It has direct beach access and the upstairs is ideally set up to have parents in one room and the kids in the bunk room across the bathroom. They even had kid stuff in the house and safety rails for the top bunk. The house is one of the most well-stocked that I have seen which made life easier. They had several rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand soap, trash bags, (even baggies!), shampoo and conditioner, a good amount of beach towels and bath towels, as well as plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen had everything we needed. The garage downstairs had boogie boards, a tent for the beach, and sand toys. The tent is great so you don't have to haul yours. Two things to bring with you that they did not have: 1) A baby gate if you have toddlers. The deck does not have a gate to close it off from the stairs to the beach. We often had to figure out a way to block the steps from my 20-mo. 2) Beach chairs. There were plenty of kid chairs, but there were none that could fit an adult. We had to go buy beach chairs or we would have had to sit on the sand the whole time. The 4-star rating is due to communication with the host. We went the first day of a tropical storm. I sent a text and message through the app verifying the property was still accessible and not flooded out. We did not hear back about it until a day before our trip was over. Luckily we went anyway and took the risk.
